You have your website tested, fix the issues and arrange training for your team. Yet the same questions and mistakes keep coming back. Responsibilities are unclear, knowledge sits with just a few people, or accessibility only gets attention when a product is nearly finished.

Accessible Online helps you understand why this happens and what you can change. The Accessibility Maturity Model gives you a picture of how your organisation manages accessibility. Together, we then develop an approach that fits your people, resources and everyday work.

Would you like to work together towards an accessible organisation? Accessible Online helps you build your accessibility maturity.

Where does your organisation get stuck?

This support is for organisations that want to work more accessibly but are still looking for a consistent approach. For example, when:

  • accessibility depends mainly on a few committed colleagues;
  • teams are unsure who is responsible for what;
  • accessibility problems keep returning;
  • policies are in place, but implementation falls behind;
  • you have many areas to improve and do not know where to start.

You do not need a detailed plan yet. We can start with the questions you have today.

First, understand how you work

The Accessibility Maturity Model (AMM) looks at the organisation behind your websites, apps and documents. How do you make decisions? What knowledge is available? What do you agree with suppliers? And how do you know whether your approach works?

We identify which areas are relevant to your needs. Then we discuss what happens in practice with the colleagues involved and review the evidence that supports it. This might include working agreements, procurement documents, training and assessment results.

This gives you an evidence-based picture of what works well, what is missing and where improvements are needed.

From findings to practical improvements

An assessment is only useful if you can act on its findings. That is why Accessible Online also helps with the next steps.

Together, we decide which improvements need attention first. We clarify who will take them forward, what they need and when you will review the results. Where needed, Accessible Online can help with working agreements, team guidance, training or questions about suppliers.

The approach fits into your existing work. We agree in advance on the support you need and what your team will handle.

How we can work together

  1. Define the question and scope
    We discuss what you want to achieve and which part of the organisation we will assess. A first assessment can start with a single department.
  2. Assess your current approach
    We gather information, speak with colleagues and review what the evidence shows. We make uncertainties and missing information clear.
  3. Set priorities and choose actions
    We turn the findings into manageable improvements, with clear responsibilities.
  4. Review progress
    If you wish, Accessible Online can stay involved during implementation. We review what works and where adjustments are needed.

CapA11y as a free tool

CapA11y helps you keep your assessment, evidence and improvement actions in one place. You can save reports and compare them later to see what has changed.

CapA11y is free to use. You can work independently with the tool or ask Accessible Online for guidance. We agree on the scope and cost of that guidance in advance.

Your products still need accessibility testing

An AMM assessment shows how your organisation manages accessibility. Accessibility testing shows which problems exist in a particular product. A high maturity level therefore does not guarantee that every website, app or document is accessible.

Both assessments help in different ways: to find existing problems and to prevent them from returning.
